A full moon on Halloween... in 2020... what could go wrong? Since Halloween is tomorrow, I have to review one more vampire story to honor my favorite holiday and the best mythical creatures out there. This one is NOT horror though. It is clear to see why Inception is a best seller. Like so many paranormal romances, imitating Twilight, this one has it ALL. All the tropes and all the FEELS! It is very well written as you get to experience what it’s like to have a vampire drain you of blood in a REALLY sexy way. The end has a good twist — the betrayal cuts deep. It keeps you on your toes trying to decide who is good and who is bad. It will leave you needing book 2.

Heat Level: Mild-plus. Lots of kissing and some blood sucking. Plenty of sexual tension as this genre requires but no detailed sex scenes.
